The application boasts easily accessible visual buttons like Start Over, Erase (for clearing Have or Buy values individually), Have, Buy, Tax, +, -, and =. To utilize Making Cents:

<li>Auditory feedback with talking buttons offering actionable insights on available funds and desired purchases while the thumbs-up or thumbs-down deliver affirmative or negative responses based on affordability</li>
<li>Kinesthetic and tactile functionalities through touch screen activation and responsive touch buttons or text</li>
</ul>
Additional settings in Making Cents allow users to:

<li>Easily configure or update the tax rate to align with city or county standards</li>
<li>Toggle the voice feature on/off (set to default 'on')</li>
<li>Benefit from automatic retention of last settings</li>
<li>Reset tax rates back to the default 8%</li>
</ul>
